Maven AIMaven AI

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2, 2026

Introduction

Maven Studios (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the MavenAI: Chart AI Trading mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and who it is shared with.

You Use the App Anonymously

The App does not ask you to register. When you first open it, we create an anonymous account identified only by a randomly generated identifier. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or password, and we have no way to identify you personally from the data we hold.

The information below is linked to that random identifier, which makes it pseudonymous rather than anonymous: it does not name you, but it does distinguish your device from another.

Information We Collect

Content You Create

The alerts you set up (cryptocurrency pairs, indicators, conditions and frequency), the coins you add to your watchlist, the messages you send to the in-app assistant, and the AI analyses you request and their results.

App Preferences

Your default exchange, timeframe, alert frequency, appearance setting, and — if you choose to answer the optional onboarding question — how you heard about the App.

Device Information

A push notification token so we can deliver your alerts, plus your platform (iOS or Android), operating system version and App version for diagnostics.

Usage Analytics

Which screens you open and which actions you take in the App (for example: an alert created, a paywall viewed, an analysis started), together with the anonymous account identifier described above. We use this to understand which features are used and where people get stuck.

Subscription Status

Whether you have an active subscription or trial and when it expires. Payments are handled entirely by Apple and Google — we never receive your card details.

Advertising and Attribution Data

If you install the App after seeing one of our advertisements, our attribution provider records that install so we know which campaign it came from. On iOS this may include your device's advertising identifier (IDFA), but only if you grant permission when the App asks “Allow Maven AI to track your activity across other companies' apps and websites?”. If you decline, no advertising identifier is collected and attribution falls back to Apple's privacy-preserving SKAdNetwork. On Android, the Google Advertising ID is collected for the same purpose without a prompt; you can delete or reset it at any time in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.

How We Use Your Information

  • To monitor the markets and deliver the alerts you configure
  • To generate the AI analyses and market summaries you request
  • To manage your subscription and restore purchases
  • To measure which features are used, diagnose crashes, and improve the App
  • To measure the performance of our advertising, where you have permitted it
  • To respond to support requests you send us

AI Processing

When you request an analysis, we send the relevant market data (such as the coin, price history, derivatives data and related news headlines) to Google's Gemini API to generate the written analysis you see. We do not send your account identifier, your alerts, or any other personal information with these requests, and this data is not used to train Google's models.

Data We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect or store your exchange API keys, passwords, or trading credentials
  • We do not execute trades on your behalf
  • We do not have access to your exchange accounts or wallet balances
  • We do not collect your name, email address or phone number
  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties

Third-Party Services

We share limited data with the following providers so the App can function. Each has its own privacy policy governing its use of that data.

  • Supabase — Anonymous accounts and database hosting
  • Firebase (Google) — Push notification delivery, usage analytics, and crash reporting
  • Mixpanel — Product analytics. Our Mixpanel project stores its data in the European Union.
  • AppsFlyer — Advertising attribution (see the section above; only active with your permission on iOS)
  • RevenueCat — Subscription management
  • Google Gemini — Generating AI market analysis and news sentiment
  • Apple App Store & Google Play Store — Payment processing
  • Market data providers — Cryptocurrency exchanges and data sources supply the prices and news shown in the App. We request market data only; no information about you is sent to them.

Where Your Data Is Processed

Our product analytics data is stored in the European Union. Some of the providers listed above process data in the United States and other countries. Where data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, it is done under appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Data Retention

We retain your alerts, watchlist and preferences for as long as your anonymous account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings inside the App, which removes your account record and associated data from our systems. Because the account is anonymous, deleting it means we can no longer identify or recover that data.

Your Choices

  • Tracking — decline the App Tracking Transparency prompt, or change it later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
  • Notifications — turn off push notifications in your device settings at any time
  • Deletion — delete your account and its data from Settings inside the App
  • Under UK and EU data protection law you also have the right to access, correct, export or restrict processing of your data, and to complain to a supervisory authority. Because your account is anonymous, we may need information from the App to locate your records before we can act on such a request.

Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
